Thanks man. I didn't actually touch that in the end, just left it as is but that's actually a really good idea.
Tonight i've been tinkering holy s**t it's 12.22! I feel like a student again.
Got my
@bristolnate door cards on. Absolutely beautiful things! I used velcro to stick them on. It's worked really well

Thought i'd go for something different too, people usually use the silver door handles but i'm going for the stealth look

I also fitted the heater properly tonight. I've used nylon stand off washers to space it out due to the angle of the coolant pipes. Think it looks pretty decent too!

Velcro holds it on well, it's nice and straight. Deffo recommend.

I also received my switches from RS so started wiring them up. These have to be DPDT as that's how the window operates. Basically when you flick the switch up and down it reverses the polarity of the wires to the motor which either goes up or down.
All done!

I then tested it to see if it all works, it does as you can see when im pressing it one way the voltage on the LCD display is negative 12v.

Then flicking it the other way you get positive

It's so handy having a PSU fixed for 12v output for things like this. Thanks
@Matt555 for the tip with that.
