Did K-tec get their TB’d 16V going

As above - does anyone know?

I did send an email to david last year and he was saying theyd have their demo car on the rollers in january but have heard nothing about it! Are they having problems with it - i know webber have withdrawn their kit for "further development" too....

i think it is 177bhp at the fly and is in PGTi

I know of a better one than that that has about 177 at the wheels after only 100 miles so should be more once run in.

The webcon kit is not user programmable though, so any remap will have to be done by a webcon dealer....which is a tad crap.

Me and Roamer spoke to Trev about it, he wasnt overly impressed with the TB kit!!! He sent it back to be mapped several times IIRC

yes mate he got it back earlier this week..........still 1 or 2 minor hiccups with the dodgy webber set up..fukkin anount of coin webber have its bout time they put some money into r&d so that the kits they sell actually work out the box......instead of ppl havin to fuk around for ages with em lol

oh well ............think hes jus avin a bit of trouble with the rev counter, its only reading 1/2 of wot it shud be due to having to use a dif coil etc. ongoing work tho...........he says its quik, il find out soon enuff lol
