Does a 172 exhaust manifold fit onto a K4M??

Hi all

Building a Super 1600 Rallycross car (the same as the works rally cars were) To do the european championship.

Looking for budget exhaust manifiold and seen one off a 172 that looks very similar to the outputs on the one of the 1.6 16v block we have (K4M)

So, what I want to know is, does a 172 4 branch exhaust manifold fit directly onto a 1.6 16v (K4M) head?

Any help ASAP would be appriciated.

iirc you have to cut flange off k4m manifold and fabricate it onto f4r manifold

has been done somewhere

Excuse my ignorance but what is iirc??

So is the FR4 the 172?

What part of the flange has to be modified?

IIRC = if i remember correctly

F4R is the engine code for Clio 172, 182
