Right - after the lacquer peeling off from my paint job on the badges and then an accident with Nitromors (don't ask!) I have got another set of badges and attempted a chrome like finish - What do you think?

They have had another coat since the pics so are smooth as now

Going to give them a day to harden and then put the sealer on!
