Kept coming up with excuses to do this later and if I don't make a brief start it'll be next year before I know it.

I bought FKU from @NorthloopCup a couple weeks back. What a hoot!

Sailed through MOT, ended up chatting with the boys at my local garage for about an hour as they'd never seen an AG clio before but loved it (they are more used to classic jags, lotus, cossie's and escorts).

Each time I've been out its not quite sunk in its mine.

Next up likely will book a day at Knockhill but I'm getting married in May so likely June!

Here's a shot of it next to my Dad's wheels.

Only temptation I have had so far would be possibly OEM electric folding mirrors and projector headlight retro fit.
I think the mirrors are fairly straight forward from the reading I've done, I need to do some more searches about the headlights.

Then it would have even more optional extras ?

Projector headlights are an easy straight swap but they arent as bright and good in the dark however you can upgrade the bulbs to HIDs and hide the ballast under the light casing for mot purposes. with HIDs they are really good.

Info like this is great, I don's have any problems with the current bulbs (even though I did used to have Xenon's on my daily), I may hang fire with that then.

Behold my first required maintenance ?
Hopefully I can bend my wrists enough to change which ever bulb has blown, seems to be both the dipped beam and sidelight are out. High beam and indicator are fine.

Hardest part is finding the parts - you need obviously the mirrors, the folding button switch but also the door wiring loom.

Had FKU out for a few weekend blasts, love this car!

Good news, booked on for Knockhill 26th August

Great fun, couldn't fault the car, driver could do with some practice! Got the tyres a tad too hot initially but dialled the pressures in nicely for the rest of the day.

Had a passenger ride in a Caterham 620R, rather quick!
