Charlie im after £350 for the wheels, The alloys are mint and have a recipt from rimstyle for £425 not including tyres. They have 165/50/15 tyres on and they are like brand new. If you want them mate pm me.

Dave i get a very good discount threw work with eurocar parts plus i can put stuff on a 30 day credit account so i dont have to pay until a month. :rasp:

don't get me wrong i loved the clio its just it wasnt quick enough. The only reason i got the clio in the first place was purley for insurance reasons as i have 6 points but now its all good. Ive always had quick cars and its nice to be back in one after soo long. I would of put a 172 in the clio but there would of been no point with it being soo low. The shocks have shot as its been lowered on standards but the b8's should make a massive improvement. :D

fair enough mate.i know its only 20 bhp difference but it makes a massive difference pace wise.just put a vts lump in it and dont declare it;).the thing with the vts lump is their so easy tuning.exhaust ,decat,enclosed induction kit,4 branch manny=135 to 140 bhp.

Even if someone crashes into him and the car goes to get sorted they would most definatley void your insurance.

Thats a f**king stupid idea, to add, the reason the rest of us mugs are paying so much.

Yes, but that doesnt make it right does it? As said, this is the reason that all of us pay stupid amounts of money on our cars every year in insurance and the fact that these people keep doing it, its just going to get worse when not if they crash. We all get tarred with the same brush when one bellend in an undeclared engine swap hatchback kills a child.

Modding cars, making them faster is great.. just do it properly and legally.

Back on topic, nice base car! Plans sound great too.. never saw your clio before though, may have a looksee now. :star:

Thanks for the epic f*ing spaming. :(

Ive managed to get one b8 on the n/s fitted but the o/s top strut nut is fooked. So im going to grind the old tube off :evil:. The n/s we took off was a f*cking discrace. It has been battered and you can see the metal chunks missing were it has been bottoming out. :(. But on a plus side the n/s is soooo much stiffer. ive only put one on and it feels so different. Ive took pics and made a vid of the shock lol. Ill hopefully post up tomorow when ive fitted the o/s and the rears. Hopefully if i can sell the escort for this weekend i will also be ordering a brand new saxsport. Its a raspy system atm but you carnt beat the noise of a pugsport/saxsport. hmmmmmmmmm Rasp :rasp:

Whichever clown refitted the o/s shock had over tightend the top nut and threaded it. The nut was just spinning. This left only one solution..

The state of the shocks was beyond a joke. The b8's have made a massive improvement. I am going to get some eibach pro springs to complete the setup on the weekend. I have ordered some new drop links as the ones on the car are fooked. Ive also ordered some Powerflex black shore 95 front anti-roll bar bushes which are being made to order and will be with me in 10 days. When the bushes and drop links arrive ill also remove the anti-roll bar and clean it up and spray it red. I will update very soon. Enjoy

Cracking stuff, but i'd go for sportline, sit MUCH better (45mm drop iirc), proline are like 30mm drop.

They cost me brand new, discounted from (carnt say were) £330 inc v.a.t. Im going to be selling the interior soon with the show cage so that will free up money for some bucket seats! :D

I had my brand new Lemforder (O.E) drop links and track rod ends delivered today. I will be fitting these as soon as my Black shore 95 anti-roll bar bushes come.

cheers george, I might strip it ;) But im going to weigh everything i strip. Every nut and bolt all the sound deadning everything and jornal it all so it will be helpfull for others. :approve: Plus it gives me an indication of the weight ive stripped.

DO NOT buy Eibachs for the saxo, they are a very low poundage & WILL bottom out all over the place.

Buy Faulkner 155lb springs, in either -35mm or -45mm variety.
