How have people fitted cup spoilers to the non sport dynamique model?

Recently bought a cup spoiler and tried to fit it last night. However, the plastic connectors on the wires don't fit underneath the spoiler.

The standard spoiler is hollow so there is plenty of room for the wires and washer pipe.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thought about cutting a groove on the underside of the spoiler and/or swapping the connectors to something thinner.

Thanks, Dan

The washer jet pipe may need to be lengthened by approx 20mm...

I'm fitting my spoiler in next few days hopefully.

I've got a plug from a mk2 laguna to splice with wires for the brake light, so hopefully it will be easy enough.

Right okay cheers everyone.

I'm not too fussed with the washer pipe as I've de-wipered the car so rarely use it anyway. If that fits then it's a bonus.

Sounds like a two man job though. Got a new brake light on order as I managed to crack the old one when removing it. They're very brittle :/

I'll let you know how I get on. Thanks :)

Two people, one with some sort of long stiff wire and push the wires and washer jet pipe into the recess as you level the spoiler out. Easiest way Iv found.

First attempt I was to heavy handed and broke a corner off lol
