Insurance on my 182 - 1250, seems a lot?

Insurance is due next month, quick quote from Flux was 1250, which seems more than it should be.

I'll be ringing around tomorrow etc, but what should I be paying on my modified 182?!

ive just a got a quote off them and it came back £1260 which imo is well too high. will phone them nearer the time (june) to see if a can get it alot cheaper

Id say thats about right with your details.

Maybe get it a tad lower, but for the usual F/Comp policy with 10k etc id say thats fair with all your factors.

Ring Brentacre mate. No other insurance company could even come close for me on my 172, Flux and Chris Knott were literally more than double. Although that said I have a feeling Brentacre don't like 20 year old drivers...still worth a phone call.

i found flux to be very expensive. I'm 25 with 3y ncb and they were being silly with quotes. Greenlight for me was by far the best. No one could touch them.

If this thread is pointless s**te to you then don't make a comment fella. No need to come on here and be a bit arsey, he was simply trying to see what people of similar age are paying to use as a benchmark.

He can then determine weather that quote is indeed a good one or bad one.

Botching is called a spelling error, are you really trying to get one over on me latching on to clicking a wrong letter?!

I know there are a lot of people on here around my age with 182's, so just after a rough idea, have I not already said I'm doing the ringing round, just wondering what to expect.
This forum is for insurance related stuff amongst othet things, if you don't want to see these threads go in media where you can find some pictures to amuse yourself.

I never understand why people like you feel the need to comment on something and say how it is pointless, why not just not bother posting and not look like someone who secretly cares but is trying to look like they don't, I'm sure theirs tons of people on here who think this thread is shite, but it isn't a million pages long, take a leaf out of their books.

So basically quit trying to argue with me to prove a pointless point.
