Cliffs: I broke the key in the lug... Than broke a tap in the key ( tap =titanium) ... used all drill bits, easy outs.. nada.. worked.. soooo

I dont see why the Wheel had to be cut off...

Surley an 'Easy-out' would have taken it out with slight intervention with a drill & cobalt drill bit

lol ever heard of a stud extractor?

I had to use a blow torch a chisel and a BFH on my Pug.

I think I'll get some decent locking nuts for the 172 actually as the oem ones are s**t, 182 one was much more substantial.

Them wheels are dead cheap bbs lm reps from ebay so no massive loss. Looks like he has replaced it with a gen item.

when this happened to my saxo vts.. i took it to a garage and they welded a pole to the nut and easy it was out!!

thing is, he's obviously put those photos together for use on a forum, where he could presumably just have asked for suggestions. live&learn, i guess

what a dick i took 4 out of my first saxo by driling and re taping then took another 4 out of my second saxo with a hamer and a impact screwdriver. cheap saxos ;)

Peugeot dealers have to do this on a fairly regular basis as their keys are s**t and the locking nuts are 'snap-off' type, so you can't actually get an extractor on them...
