looking to get a 172 :D

hopefully sold my astra now, fingers crossed! so should have around £2200 to spend on a 172 unsure whether to go for a ph1 or whether i could stretch to ph2.. opinions please and are there many pro's and cons between the 2? insurance works out to be £1097 per year, thats with me and mum on the policy, with me having a claim and been driving 4 years. no ncb, oh and im 22. cheers

I'd rather buy a better condition Ph1 than a rough Ph2 for that money.

That'll secure a top end Phase 1 i think.

Personally i prefer the Phase 1 over the Phase 2

I prefer the PH2. Newer looking, xenons etc but i'd def get a PH1 with your budget

for 2200 you wont get a very nice ph2. I agree with everyone on this thread, get a nice ph1.. Makesure you look around a lot, there some real dogs around. Also what astra are you coming from?
