Updates!! Got engine hanging in there just need to finish chassis rail and strengthening also need to strengthen the cam chain end mount. Need to notch subframe a little and make the dog bone fit but at least it’s in there!!

So update time.. got all the mounts finished also had to notch subframe but all in and clearing so that’s good 👍
Also got exhaust mani and flange tac welded together and that clear the body subframe and even lined up with the system 🤷‍♂️ Don’t ask me how!! Next got to get my drive shafts lathed up so I can weld them up!!!

Yeh mate they are a toyo sports but v banded I mean the 182 is a very nice manifold with decent size primary’s and it’s designed to fit through subframe arb and rack anyway so thought would be close and I had one so only had to buy a flange so it’s owes me £20 😂👍

Little update got all the mount bits painted in satin 2k and inner wing treated etched sealed then painted engine was built up with new billet flywheel and new H/D exedy clutch kit and it’s in there for good now and the clutch seems to work.. little heavy but was expected washed all the shitty Workshop dust off to!!

Little update since still waiting on drive shafts I thought I’d get on with a few little bits so I modified the inlet manifold as it was cheeper to buy it Unmodified as it’s got a water jacket on it that need cutting off and I also bored it to 70mm to match the throttle body adapter I’m running stock throttle body atm will probs go 70mm eventually.. when I boost it 😂🤷‍♂️ Also made a adapter to run the ph1 pedal not sure if happy with the position so may do that again and also made a battery tray to run a pc680 so getting there!!

Update!!!
Getting through the jobs so I ended up redoing the throttle pedal as wasn’t happy with the position! I also got shafts back from machining so I could get them in the lathe and weld them up then I painted lots of little bits in 2k black, next I done most of the jobs that need doing befor subframe went on like aux belt (bit tight😂) shafts and shifter cables and power steering delete bits the subframe is on for good now I have also fitted a sports cat. I also got my set of turinis powder coated and they blasted the rocker cover for me so I gave wrinkle paint a go look pretty oem nice.. orderd some back silicone hoses for coolent and intake and recived red 🤷‍♂️ I’m too impatient and I don’t mind red 😂😂 next up is mainly wiring and silly little bits like throttle cable fuel line ect got remap booke for 17th🤞🤞and snet on 24 😂🤞 and lots of pics to follow!! 👍

A big update!!
so made a new fuel line and got the inlet injector rail and throttle body fitted! But I did have to re make the top rad mounts as the idle control valve plug was basically touching the fins no biggie!! Then fitted dynodaze Hondavert ecu turned the key and fired straight up!! although it was doing this weird hunting thing (like a air leak) but I put it down to the base map so I took it 150 miles to dynodaze who were absolutely on the ball And pointed out idle controls Probly stuck open so I had a tinker freed it off and that was problem 1 sorted!! So got it on dyno and running way to rich didn’t kno if fuel pressure was right as I’m running clio pump then dynodaze then said it’s got bigger injectors they come with the engine so I assumed they were stock but further inspection all injectors were odd fortunately they had a stock set so I sling them in and we were away with the tuning!! And managed 243.9 bhp and 177.6 lbft!! I was hoping to atleast be 230ish hp just need to finish inside need to sus Speedo and Rev counter aswell but not that important got snetterton booked for Thursday so 🤞I got a set of giti semi slicks for then and also got a set of turbines blasted so I need to give them a quick lick of paint!! That’s it for now!!

So track day was a success, day befor I got a chance to dust some red 2k on turbines and got giti tyres fitted and they were really good i will deffo buy again!! And just performed well all day I need to have a go at wheel alinement as I didn’t touch it just dropped coilovers as was to high because the engine was lighter 🙈 anyway pics.. oh and I wasn’t the only yellow kangoo there you can’t make it up ffs 😂😂😂

So not a major update but..
Did wheel alinement as when I fitted k20 setup it’s was a lot lighter and I wanted it to look cool I dropped coilovers a inch to look good and never checked alinement (it drove like shite) 🙈

so I set it towing out and -3 camber and levelled out the coilovers

I had a track eve booked last week so have had a well earned wash loaded up and set off and as expected no probs and handling was awesome the amount of people that couldn’t work out why it was so quick till they would have a gander in the pits and be surprised 😂

And back on the 15 corse ally’s I think I prefer to the turinis but I dunno I just like a change 😂😂
