Magnex System - is it ok

My guess was that theres been an ecu software change that now picks up a missing second sensor as mine is the same.

sorry i dont understand what you mean? The sensor is connected to the car, but not to the decat - its just tied up underneath the car.

what plate is yours Pete? Mine is a 52 plate
