Miserable day today so I've took the opportunity to restore the headlights, I'd machine polished them when I got the car but it never lasts, the only way to keep them nice is to clear them..
Scruffy yellow lights
Cleaned and flatted off, masked up with a soft edge around the lens, set up in my professional spray booth.
After a few coats of 2k clear, there's a couple of bits of dust in it that'll flat and polish out tomorrow, but that's a massive improvement over the before.
While I've got the equipment to spray properly, I couldn't be bothered sheeting off the garage to protect against overspray, or cleaning the gun afterwards so I used a can of ProXL 2k in a can. I've not used these before, it's expensive Vs 'proper' 2k paint you put through a gun (£18 for a 200ml can, Vs around £30 for a 1.5L kit of 2k clear) but it was definitely worth it for the ease of use.
