lol A guy from french forums, ask me if I was able to do it on his car (except the color !). I'm working on it ! A new Clio R could born before the end of the year lol

So, After several weeks (month…!) of reflexion about what would be my next ride, couldn't deciding between Exige S2 RHD and Clio 200, my choice has been maid after racetrack test ! And the Clio has won, even tough the Exige is on my "Top 3" of best cars ever made !!!


Before finding my car, I've stocked lots of parts during several month, waiting for a good deal !!! And finally...


05/24/11 - 15h30 : New ride in da house !!!


05/24/11 - 16h30 : Let's begin !!!

Lucky that I took time to weight the car before to start working on it !


The following day, I was installing my Inoxline exhaust !

Then, next step...

Painting and installation of the modified cup roll cage.

Let's continue the emptying !

Installation of harness with the Renault seats.

Installation of the lightweight battery…...

Installation of the Clio V6 / Cup air box

Painting of Clio Cup wheels !

So now… Let's spay the car !!!

Beginning of the total dismantling of the car !

Let's install the new seats !

After dismantling...

Let's spray first parts.

The worst step of the job…!

Last step, spray the car !

And finally…

Let's apply makeup !!

Installation of the H&R coil overs and test with Ultraleggera in 18' !

I definitely prefer the Clio Cup wheels !!!

That is absolutely amazing, and I applaud everything you've done.

Lunar is the greatest RS colour of all time, wish they did the 200 in it standard.

Just one question, as you took a 'non-cup' car to do it, does this mean you have the slower steering rack? Just unsure as obviously it's a French spec Clio. If it doesn't maybe you should throw that on too.

Also where are you losing another 20-30kgs? There's nothing on the car left. Just gonna have one massive poo before getting in it?
