Back to volvos for me! Never lost a dime on one!
Cleaning things was only ever likely to be a temporary fix in reality. I've rarely known if it working for any length of time.
Bad man. You sold him a lemon.
This basically. The previous owner had already tried that before he sold it to @leeds_182
New owner needs to fire the parts cannon at it me thinks.
f**k that, did you ring the previous owner when it limped on you? You've spent money on it at a specialist to try fix it so you've nothing to feel bad about. Tell him to ring them as their fix hasn't worked.I know. I feel bad. At least I fixed some of the issues.

That went well then. Please keep it longer than five minutes!
The MAF is like under £100? and the MAP looks even cheaper?
You should ask for tips on buying cars for yourself, I cant guarantee they'll be decent or running properly though ??Surely next time you buy a car it's sold before the drive home?

Do those figures include money spent on modifications, insurance changes, fuel to go and collect them etc etc

No because that would be boring and sensible
Better than meI think this is a little unfair! My recent history had been pretty good.
Volvo 850 - didn’t lose
Pug 405 - bought for £450 and sold for £450
Volvo 940 smoker - bought for £1100 and sold for £1500
Volvo 360 - bought for £1500 and sold for £2400
Volvo 940 turbo - bought for £1100 and sold for £2500
Clio 172 cup - bought for £2300 and sold for £2300 after selling £500 worth of parts
In fact, I’ve broken even on most of my recent purchases so was probably due a bad one.
One's Chevrolet Performance? Gotta be genuine surely?
Didn't the Saxo end up on throttle bodies and everything?
Bought it back yet ?
Do they handle well these?
The Monaro was supposed to be ok wasn't it? Albeit in a lairy, slightly crude way?
Corsa VXR Nurburgring and Astra J VXR are meant to handle well too.
Corsa Nurburgring and the newer shape Corsa E VXR with the performance pack handle brilliant.
But you would have to be seen alive in a Vauxhall!
May I just add, I have paid my debt to society by ending the life of 2 Vauxhall’s in the past.
