New Head Unit/Harman Kardon Drive & Play

Hi Everyone

I need some advice. I want to use my ipod in the car (new R26 due in March) and want to get some advice on what options are available. These are the options I have looked at so far:

Option 1 - Harman Kardon Drive & Play (59.99 from caraudiosecurity)
Option 2 - New head unit (example: Pioneer DEH-P55BT) which has a ipod adaptor and bluetooth for my phone. Price: £213 approx

Questions
1. If I upgrade my headunit will the remote on the sterring wheel still work?
2. Is it easy to connect a new head unit to the megane?
3. Whats the blootooth quality like on most headunits?

I take it the principles will be the same for a clio and a megane

Many thanks

Paul

Apparently the bluetooth on the P55BT is a bit wanky. However, it is the one i shall be getting next week. iPod (Harman Kardon) thing is most probably the easiest. One of my mates has it, it works really well, it's just the question of do you want an extra thing sitting on top of your dash?
