Newbie with 172 in Monaco Blue

Car  Chilli Red 350Zed
Hi all, this is the 172 my b/f bought for me after selling his SP1 sportsbike. Its a Nov 2003 model in Monaco Blue with 22k miles and full Renault service history. The guy he bought it from(yellow shirt) is a mate of ours so we know its been well looked after..He sold it to finance an R32 which should be on a transporter coming up England. They offered him a crap trade-in price so we got it for £5k.Bargain or what??After lending us the 172 last weekend we decided to go for it. The silver one is his previous car which got wrote off when a bus shelter jumped out in front of him.. ..I'll post more when the b/f gets a camera sorted..

Cheers guys, the clio came with the GJZ plate .Im gonna have problems putting the T4 RDO plate on, as its on retention, and before it can be registered in N.Ireland it has to be on an English vehicle or a vehicle registered on the Swansea 'puter..More of a plate for a V6 or a scooby anyway..Probably end up on ebay..

Welcome to the club!:D

And SNAP!:approve:

Mine's just had a claying session this weekend plus polish & wax. So thats got rid of the swirls you get thro the winter weather.

Cracking colour, just hard work this time of year. Oh and a bit demoralising when you take it for a blast afterwards and it gets sh1t up again.:dapprove:

yet another monaco!! haha this is crazy...where are they all coming from all of a sudden! lloks good by the way ;)

Thanks for the welcome lads. After a 1.2 Corsa its good to get into something with a bit of oooomph.Cleanings gonna be fun.Bucket and sponge every sunday from now on.Anyone know if there is a Monaco Blue touch up stick available,or is everything in 2 packs now.Im sure I'll pick up the inevitable stone chips on the front and want to try and keep on top of things. What do you all recommend for the alloys.? Dont fancy keeping this one clean with a £1.20 drive thru at Asda.
