On road tyres it lights them up in first and second ! it was on rally tyres in the vid , although they were cold , and it was still lighting them up slightly in second

Just about done now bar fitting my new camera , my old one kept switching itself off so have bought a GoPro hero 3 so need to make an adapter to fit my roll cage mount.

Fitted some new discs last night as my old ones were starting to crack , got in some of the new Ferodo Uno pads to try which are the next step up from DS3000 , so was out last night bedding them in

Off to do the recce shortly to do our pace notes , recce car having a quite word with the rally car lol

Took some pics while I was at it , under the bonnet is finished bar the filter on the oil catch tank we made , it also holds the can for the suspension

Took some pics of the dash as well , its really good , just a tw4t to set up !

Look out for some incar stuff after the weekend , got a busy 3 days next week as were off to Ireland thursday to do the West Cork rally so hopefully I wont put it on its roof this weekend lol

Few of my pals were out on the Tour and saw your result!!! Cracking finish you were flying!! Your up there with the big boys! What was your flat shift issue? I still cant get mine to work smoothly in every gear sometimes it works ok then sometimes it wont release the gear ive changed the shims and got it better! Did you change the timings on the gear selection in the map? Im using a emerald and i noticed that i can change the timings for each gear did you have to change them? Do you know what yours are set at?

Im back

Had a great day yesterday , didn't start off too well as I did the first leg on the wrong tyres , went out on super soft slicks but it was too slippy and greasy and dropped loads of time , was 85th after the first stage !
Got back into service and fitted wets , the Hankook wets work really well on damp as well where other make wets would rip to shreds , so got on the pace with the wets on , put in some good times , stage 5 was the best one of the day , put a very good time in on that one , caught the Escort WRC car that started in front of me , caught and overtook and dropped him by the end of the stage

We could have finished up with a better result but the tyres went off on the last stage , I should have gone 10-15 seconds faster than the stage before as they were the same stage , but it was getting a bit sloppy on the stage and ended up only going 2 seconds faster , we had a few moments getting it sideways as the tyres weren't gripping properly so backed off a bit , we were only 6 seconds off 3rd in class and had been taking time off him so I was confident we could have beaten him , but it didn't happen , so ended up 4th in class and 21st overall , considering I was 85th on the 1st stage i'm very happy with that !

Engine ran faultlessly so big thanks to Fred , the difference in the way the car pulls now is huge , was so much faster , which a lot of people commented on , the nav in the WRC escort came over to me in the service area and asked ' what the fook have you got in that ' lol.

Cars had a jet wash today to clean all the mud off it underneath , its on the ramp now , dropped the oil in the engine and box so will fill it with new tomorrow , going to fit the Laguna rear hubs I bought a few months ago as the genuine renault discs and bearings I fitted have play in them , it will have another spanner check and were ready to go to Ireland on thursday .

Have uploaded stage 6 in which we caught a 2.4 escort by the end of the stage , he said he could believe it seeing me in his mirrors , he said I must have been flying to catch him , he was gutted lol , tried the GoPro camera and was only fitted last minute , so its not in the best position , my son fitted his suction mount to the roof and it wasn't low enough so you can't see out ahead properly , but still , what you can see is fun

Yes I have some incar , but having trouble cropping it and uploading it at the moment , should be done in the next couple of days , the car is fixed and i'm doing caerwent tomorrow , A certain someone is out in his new 2.5 Escort so I though why not lol
