  Turbos.
A little update... popped round the race team's on Friday. Couple of snaps from my Blackberry below...

The controls on the wheel will take a while to get used to!

Will get some decent photos in a couple of weeks :)

It will be touch and go whether the car will be ready for the race. The boys will be working night and day so we can actually get some testing done and the setup complete, as it could be a pig to drive initially! Fingers crossed.

Ok then, a few more from my phone ;)

Once the car is built and raced i'll get a chance to go back to the flip-up wheels... Do you know what wheel you want to use? I don't want everyone getting them ;)

wow looks really good now, never been a fan of these in standard (having said that i've only ever seen one and it was old and had sat in a compound for years) but look brill with the bigger kit on them

It will take a good while to be finished, we hope to meet up with Honda soon and get them to help us out.

Latest shot...

Looks amazing.

Can I ask how much work it takes converting the pop-up headlamps to the facelift style?

What's the engine and box spec chap? 6hr is obviously a lot easier than 24hr but we found last year a lot of our competitors were having big failures at just after the 4 hour mark.

Cheers

should think its a case of removing the popups and then bolting the facelifts in, possibly having to put a new slam pannel in nothing hard though ...

The car is actually touch and go for the race...but will at least be there. The engine and gearbox are standard, just rebuilt. The engine is still in pieces...

The facelift is not hard to do really. There is a 'conversion kit' that has everything you need. Next year i might buy another cheap one and convert it to a road going NSX-R replica. For £25k it's a good alternative to importing one at £90/100k!
