Thanks! :) As a project it's pretty much finished tbh.

There's a few other little touches and changes to come (plus possible new seats and a change of suspension), but I'd like a Meg next. :)

I just want to enjoy the car now.

Doesn't feel like it, but I've had the car for 2 years this month! :)

It's changed a lot since the day I bought it!

I'm really happy with how it's progressed over the last year; it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it!

As the car stands, after 2 years of ownership;

really the most awesome ph.2 in here imho:clap:

is the torgue corrected too? my willy has the only then completely standard....

I think my streamline parts were attempted to be delivered this afternoon while I was at work. Sadly, the local collection office was closed by the time I was home!

Someone get this boy a feature !

Immaculate, stunning attention to detail.

Thanks, dude! :)

Awaits the breaking thread in traditional CS fashion :p

Looks awesome though Ollie, attention to detail is awesome.

You do need to spend more time driving it, & less time cleaning it though ...

haha! There's no plans to break the car anytime soon CS style. :o I do just really want to enjoy the car now it's 'finished'.

It gets driven hard quite a lot tbh. I try to do both with driving/enjoying it and keep it clean. :)

Saw your car at CSS and thought it was fantastic, you've made a really nice job of this car, nice one ollie :)

I think it works well as an everyday car; there's absolutely no issues using it on a daily basis, as I do.

The exhaust does have a habit of setting off alarms in the work carpark though. Even when just sitting idle. lol!

Thanks! :D

I'm really happy with the torque curve; it does feel like it'll just pull and pull right from low down!

I love this car. Care to share how much you've spent in two years though?

I've never properly added up how much I've spent over the last couple of years. I think it would be a shock actually, it's all the little things that add up! :)

The front bumper's got some pretty big chips in it already. :rasp:

Hopefully they'll be an update of shiny carbon bits from Streamline tomorrow; hoping I can get over to the post office at lunch!

Got my pieces from Streamline today.

Outstanding quality; I'm blown away by the quality to be honest, it's definitely been worth the wait. :)

Two piece splitter, fog light surrounds, front diamond and headlight washer blanks.

pics fitted dammit! I'm tempted by some of that stuff to go with my badge....

I'd like a few other bits now too actually.

Bullets, rear diamond and rear bumper trim next I think. Then, mirrors. :o

It's fantastic stuff, just a shame it's quite expensive. End up spending a small fortune. :(

Hopefully I'll get a chance to fit some bits tomorrow. :)

I'd like to mesh the fog light surrounds though; it's a bit unsightly being able to see inside the bumper!

I made a start this morning on fitting the new carbon bits.

First up, was a trip to Halfords to get some black mesh and adhesive. Then, it was soon time to go blue peter on the fog light surrounds.

While the adhesive was drying, I went out and swapped over my diamond. My old carbon diamond used the original clips, but as the streamline one is a pre-preg item pulled from a mould it needs to be bonded into place.

Now, the fog light surrounds were about dry enough to fit to the car. Again, bonded into position.

I still have the new splitter and headlamp washer blanks to fit; the streamline splitter attached using the original mounting points, so I just need to get some screws. :)

The mesh in the fog surrounds has tidied it up nicely, it's much better not being able to see inside the bumper! So, for now, it's looking like;

:D

I'm really happy with the Streamline parts, top quality. :)

I've been out using the car and nothing I've bonded on has fallen off; result! :o haha!

I'm not really a fan of the carbon aero catches. I looked at them before buying my black ones; compared to proper carbon they look quite cheap!

Just going to get the other streamline bits (bullets, rear bumper trim, rear diamond and mirrors) I think.

Mesh fogs look cool, wouldn't go too mad on the carbon the car looks really good now,a little carbon is nice go over the top and it can look a bit much.

Mesh fogs are fecking cool. I might have to nick that idea. I've been trying to think of a way to make my fogless front not look so odd.

I'm really pleased with the meshed fog surrounds; I remember seeing it on Porkie's cup some time ago and thought I'd give it a try to tidy it up a little. :)

The headlight washer jet covers look to be a bit of nightmare to fit tbh; I'm assuming the bumper has to come off to get to the bolt/nut holding the originals on?
