Ooh yess... (Flamer + CF Spittler)

hey,

posted some pics yesterday of the splitter i had finaly orded and i have fitted it this morning and am absolutly loving the new look tbfh,... i forgot how much of a difference a splitter actually makes! looks so much more meaner :evil:

heres some s**t pics












it blends in so much better with the car being a matt finish splitter instead of the polished on ktec do... (ino as i used to have a polished one on it) so i am very pleased with the result!

Wheels + splitter look mint! only thing im not a fan of are the RSC and ktec stickers on the front.

I do like it, but I think they look better on cars with darker wheels as this doesn't really 'match'. Front-on view looks spot on though!

its ktecs carbon fibre splitter (in matt finish) and no the wheels are 15"

Ah good to know, I'm thinking of getting 15s as a possible track set. Will check out the splitter too but guessing its not cheap lol



RE the stickers, just not a fan of stickers on cars in general unless its TOW or they are very small. But I think its kind of subtle on your car, and doesn't look too out of place like some others as your car isn't a standard look.

I think the whole front end of the car would look cleaner without the two stickers, like the rest of the car looks so good, but i think the stickers just kinda cheapen it.

lol well the total for them has come to around ~£500 which tbh is very cheap for a splitter and 15" ExClioCup Magnesium Oz F1's with tyres fitted and balanced.. you just need to shop around, i have seen normal Oz F1.s go dirt cheap on here.. just keep an eye out!

i think the "TOW EYE" sticker would be a better alternative tbh as its a "track" based sticker and my theme for the car is to look like a "track" car so yess maby removing the ones i have and getting a white TOW EYE sticker would be the next move!

Ah right. Are the magnesium wheels a lot lighter than standard? I was thinking of Pro Race 1.2 just because I found a decent deal on them and they're quite light.

Tow sticker would look good in the same colour as your current stickers as it'd be kind of subtle. Might work in white too, to match the wheels, but probably best to paint the tow eye white as well if you go that route. Either way, should look great, as it does now.

Yea, a hell of alot lighter, they weigh 4.5kg a piece closest other normal alloy to that is the Oz Ultra's weighig just over 5kg a piece. Light 15" wheels are they way forward!

Some1 else suggested a White tow eye but as it's loose u think it would eventually chip away I think tow-eye sticker IS next on the list, small font tho

4.5kg each! They were a bargain then! Oz Ultras are on my list of potentials too, but I need to find these Magnesium F1s! Good buy!
