Just got back from Hemel Hempstead where I have put down a deposit on an 03 plated Red 172

Pick it up next saturday.
1 owner
10,949miles (Serviced at 10,931 by Renault Dealership selling the car on 12/12/03)
Bought from Camden Renault Milton Keynes originally
2 new Contis (other 3 are Contis too)
Exterior and Interior unmarked.
Previous owner traded it for a Vauxhall of some sort? Poss VX220.

It will be 1yr old on 01/03/04 so still has over 2yrs warranty.

Total Price = 10,845

Just gotta get a bankers draft sorted this week, then I can change the "Clio 172 Wannabe" (<<<over there) to Clio 172

Reg number in case anyone knows anything about it is K*03TX*. Previous owner was Adam from Newport Pagnell.
Any info known?

Well Id like to get the "ATMO" grill fitted to it, a new less restrictive panel filter is very likely.

But tbph Ive just gotta get used to it standard for now, so nothing major this side of the summer. (Dont quote me on that tho!)

Really nice colour, i nearly had the red but went for the blue. Going on from what _KDF said, i have had this 2 years and it has been brilliant but its time to move it on for something new, BUT WHAT???? WHAT COMPARES????

As for keeping the 172 standard, I only kept it for 3months then swapped it for a 182!

And even tho the 182 is only 4 weeks old, Ive done the following:
Viper Induction
Origin B2
Silvervisions Front & Rear

Exhaust to come as soon as some one releases one, I dont fancy a Powerflow or custom, Id rather get something made specifically for the car etc.

Has my opinion changed since buying my first 172? Yeah I guess so, both 172 and 182 were better than I expected. Reliability wasnt an issue on either cars, certainly not as bad as friends/family made out they were gonna be before I bought the 172.

Just coz I was looking back through my threads and I found it interesting howd Id come from a Primera to a 172 promising to keep it standard for a while.

then I go and swap it for a 182!!

Red was/still is my fave colour Adamf and if I could have ordered a Flame Red 182, I would have done, without doubt.
