Just tell them it popped up as you were driving and you had to pull over on the hard shoulder. Its a recall item so they'll change it without any fuss!

got my recaro subframes on friday and had suspicions they were wrong immediately. having taken measurements of the car they look like they're actually for a clio 2007+ and not a 1998-2007. which is an absolute b*****d when ive waited weeks for them.

so its doubtful whether my konig seats will be in the car for FCS. i'm hoping demon tweeks can sort me out as the company im dealing with at the moment are absolutely w**k.

so heres hoping for better luck soon

good work chap, so what did you actually do with the sound deadening on your bulkhead, just add new?

i need to remove mine

We (I) removed all the old stuff and ordered a new piece from Renault but it only comes as a much smaller piece as you can see. So we chopped the bottom half of the old one off so we kept the heat shielding around the fuel and brake lines and cut down where the header tank is so the 2 pieces joined. Then painted the visible yellow bulkhead black. Voila!

in theory its very easy, just a bit of an arse. having no coil pack helped in gaining access, but could have been sprayed up with it there.

Ive seen this knocking about a few times now im back in stoke in the milton/baddeley green area? Does your mrs live that way i presume?
