So I bought some "blue tint" sidelights..

Already owning some normal led sidelights for a while now which started to flicker, thought id invest in some cheap (3.99) blue tint sidelights..

what I wasn't expecting was the lights to light up like a blue smurf Christmas -.-
generally wanted a slight tint blue, not a new set of bright blue headlights.

Question is.. These are illegal aren't they? and they look shocking against the xenons. Maybe good for a number plate bulb?

Why bother annoying the police? they also look a bit tacky.

I had ones like that when I was 17. Copper who was walking along the street waved me in. Made it very clear that the only vehicles allowed to have blue lights are emergency vehicles. Luckily I had my old side lights in the car so swapped them there and then, so he let me off.

dont do it.

My mate had blue side lights in his N reg escort, along with blue footwell neons and 6x9s in the parcel shelf.

It was awesome in 2005.
