Sold my car today

After having my 106 GTi advertised for 2 weeks, had the first and only person come to view it today. He fell in luv with it, left me a deposit and will be back next weekend to collect. I will be sad to see it go, really is a lovely looking car, and drives superbly.

So anyway, this time next week I'll have £10k burning a hole in my pocket, gagging to be spent on a full fat Cup'd up 182. Just need to find me a mint, low miler in Artic Blue now I'm excited to say the least!

I know where you're coming from! I am doing the same thing in reverse. In my case I am lucky enough to have actually picked up the 182 while still preparing to sell the 106. Not sure I am going to be busting a gut to sell it! It really was the best of the peugeots notwithstanding everybody's love of the 205.

f you get any leads on on eager 106 Gti purchasers point them in my direction!

Yea, I'm sure I will! Also looking forward to a few more creature comforts too, the 106 GTi was a bit too raw at times, no climate control etc.

I had a 106 Quiksilver before the 182, so I know what you mean about 'creature comforts'! Oh, and Arctic Blue is the best colour!

I too had a Saxo before the 182, one of the reasons why I opted for the full fat was because i wanted a few 'creature comforts' as the vtr was pretty basic!

Sounds like it's a sign of age looking for a few more creature comforts.Ok I'll admit it climate control etc, etc, etc swung it for me. Oh yes and the fact that I paid less brand new for the 182 than I did the Peugeot all those years ago! can't be bad.

106 is still a screamer though!

i had a 106 series 2 rallye before the clio just sold it this weekend! seems like natural progression for the peugeot boys and girls!
