Hi there, new member here :dead:. My brother just got his first car the other day (2002 1.2) and of course he wanted to get the stereo improved asap over the oem cd unit.
He went for the Sony CDX-GT530UI. I took the original renault cd unit out of the car easily with the usual din key prongs as you do. the harness connectors for the power and the speakers are a direct fit to the sony harness but as expected the cables look like they are pinned out in different places which i suppose is likely to happen.
Is there any way of adapting the bundled Sony harness to work with the renault standard connections designed for the oem cd head unit ?
Do i require a harness adaptor of some sort to go between the sony bundled wiring and the main car harness ?
