its pretty dang low.. exhaust scrapes as it is and speedbumps are a nightmare.. wouldnt have it any lower than it is as the handling would start to get crap.. as it is it doesnt scrub and its all been professionally set up and weighted by total control racing

sprayed the floor where the seats went matt black today.. looks much smarter till I get round to building a false floor!!
fitted new plugs n performance leads as well, bit of a service, just smartens up the bay a little more.. yellow OMP Strut brace coming soon
also... Brand new headlights from Renault...they look so much better.. no misting or hazy headlights with stone chips etc.. clean lens.. love them even if they were bloody expensive!!

RS Yellow or gloss black.. im going to take it out tomorrow so i can send it to the coaters..
heres how the new sprayed rear looks...excuse the crappy iphone picture quality and the cables/shopping in the background haha! its a bit patchy too in this picture as it was still drying.. looks very smoooth in real life

see i asked the same question on my facebook and everyone said yellow.. with black headlining and maybe a really light smoke tint on the windows!

yeah ive still got the old lights.. i may put them up for sale.. they still work and everything they're just not in the best condition could do with a rotary polish on the front to get rid of the hazing etc

sent the cage and braces off today! bumper respray next week and heat coat the manifold
Can't wait to see how they turn out.... few before pics..

matt black floor and cage before coating;
cant really see the front bumper chips.. but it is bad.. trust me! little shot of the new headlights.. took the carbon washer blanks off again ready for painting if you're wondering why there is holes in the bumper!

Keep the cage black I reckon, but get the strut brace yellow. Those yellow leads in the bay look the dogs danglies.
Out of interest how hard is it to take the engine head off like that and spray/paint it all? I really need to tidy up mine. It looks worse than what yours looked like before you sorted it out.

The track lights...!
Before anyone screams as I'm hacking apart xenons these were really stuffed after being dropped :'( and I have brand spanking ones!
Cut a section out and flatted the lens back..
Fitted a CAF.. Made it out of some plumbing bits in b&q!!
With the sprayed front on..
Sprayed the CAF along with the inside lens part + outside done gloss black
The almost finished item is at the bottom.. this is how the CAF will connect directly onto the air box
also
New headlining! After a few coats of dye! .... And some paint! Will upload in car pics later on looks really good im chuffed with the finish and result!!

cage should be back next week with front and rear braces.. some SLR pics of the lights n headlining are just being uploaded..
all the grabhandles have been removed and replaced with blanks... managed to get a load from a breakers yard and carbon fibre wrap them like the ones in the picture above ^

front bumper is going in for a respray next week or the week after.. all grills and surrounds smoothed and colour coded along with the front splitter smoothed in & carbon fibre blanks to be bonded on you can see why! stone chips :'(
black headlining:
excuse the dirty engine bay! this weather is no good for black cars! but this is how the cold air feed connects to the airbox.. i have used the original clip on pipe end and hooked it up to the new feed

cheers guys im really happy with the way its going.. cage and everything should be back this week so il make sure there is some more updates !
for the headlining I started off with some proper expensive spray dye..
...which was crap!
very patchy and took a whole can to get a faint tinge.. after wasting two tins of the stuff on the headlining I gave up
this point I thought I would have to go out and buy some material and cover it.. before I went to get back in the car I picked up the can of Gloss Black spray paint from halfords that I had been using to do the headlights and on the way past out the garage sprayed a line across it making a bad joke about go faster stripes..
but it worked really well! so after a bit more careful spraying and a few coats it came out perfect!

lot of effort alright!!took it on Curbourgh Sprint Course on tuesday.. had a chance to test the new 'track lights' which seemed to do the trick!
Very wet but lots of fun.. met a few guys from here!
too wet really to be competitive but some great sideways action! really happy with the way the clio coped!
