Shiny cup alt set up to remove aircon.

Then an oil change and track rod ends for the next trackday and she should be good to go!

What spacers are you running on the front? I've got 16s at the minute but want to go 20.

My exhaust is a decatted straight through ktec stealth & yes it's loud but nowhere near as loud as the yozza I temperaly had on, it's just shouted out look at me, in the wrong way tho :( how's yours with it being stripped out?

Cheers matey, Was a bit unsure to go with it to start with! I'm running 25mm spacers on the front too.

I had a fully de-catted k-tec on my iceberg, And yes this is louder! sometimes it does get a bit annoying with it being a daily. But when your having a good drive it sounds awesome :eek:
 
What type of spacers do you have btw? I eventually want to get some, but don't want to have to ditch my polarised bolts, so was going to look into the spacers that bolt to the hub firstly.

Your car does make me jelly. :eek:

Oh hai! I have those delta mick 25mm ones on the front, weigh a tonne! And some 15mm FK on the back with extended bolts, Which are not my polarised ones :(

Wee update! Got my cup Alt set up on on saturday. Wasn't too bad a job! Also got my drivers track rod end changed, But had 2 drivers side ones so i need another for the passenger side, oops!

Dont they just! haha Tiny bit on the front on full lock but that seems to be it. And I'm not to sure how low i am tbh.

Seen your car at crail on sunday , looked quick on the strip. what times were you getting

She was running not too bad! Think my best for the day was 14.8. Not bad considering the conditions!

Coolio. I may end up going 15's on the rear with 20's on the front. We'll see though...
Yeah, i'm nowhere near as low. Think i'm around 30-35mm (on the box they're meant to be 25mm, but its gone lower than that), so I should be fine for scrubbing. Just need to fill them arches!

Pretty envious just need mine to change from daily driver to toy and have money for all my plans.

Cheers mate! Glad you like :) doesnt need to change from daily to toy! Mines is still a daily (well will be again when its back together) have a nice update to come in the newyear!

Went down to suffolk to visit DannyR. And collect some bits! After an 800 mile round trip, Came home with this & the rest of the kit + EC1.

Subframe cleaned up + painted, Along with ARB and wishbones.

Found out when i removed the wishbones that the cups were ovalised, So got some new bushes under waranty :D

So anyway, Getting on with things now, Adam decides hes breaking his 182 track car...When better a time to purchase some shiny wilwoods :D Also Bought varley red top battery + genuine cup racer tow eyes from him too. That will be my Xmas money gone then!

Now for the fun bit! The engine ;) Cheers to Steven ( cupman on here ) and Adam. For the help! phoning steven at silly times usually with starting the convo with 'yep, Think I've broken it' lol!

Changed Dephaser pulley, belt kit + idlers, Water pump. Meg 225 crank sprocket, Crank shaft seals in both ends, New sump gasket + sealer, And gave it all a lick of paint!

Got a 205 power steering pipe as its all flexi, As aposed to having the pipe in the middle of the renault one, Much better for fitting in.

Got a radiator + fan from a 1.2 clio for better fitment of the charger filter without fowling the origional rad. Also fitted my brand new headlights and test fitted bumper.

Got the ECU's mounted up. Modified the gearbox mount, And drilled holes and tapped some threads into them so i could skrew the plate / ecu down. Then velcro'd the EC1 in place.

Probably missed a few bits and bobs out but theres plenty there! Biggest issue was waiting 3 and a bit weeks on the engine bits to turn up, Which we managed to track down on the last day of my xmas hols! And cheers to steven + Adam and the rest that halped out or kept the secret, I managed to convice most people the engine was out so i could spray the engine bay...:rasp:

Anyway, That will do for now!

Oh my f**king conker nuts!!! :hail: superb! what power is it/hoping to be runing....apologies if you have said, i'm still mesmerized by how sweet it all looks.
 
This has to be the best kept secret of 2012/2013. Too many sleepless nights, working till we were falling asleep and a list that seemed to grow when something was ticked off.
