Freshly Powder Coated Suspension Bits...

Satin Black Wishbones with Powerflex Black Series Bushes and New Ball Joints.

Welded some PureMotorsport subframe repair washers on the rear wishbone mounts due to them being enlarged and the bolt moving about.
Also fitted Blackseries Bushes on the Inner ARB, Outer ARB, Steering Rack, and Rear Beam.
Set the Camber at -1.75deg on the front

Small update...

-Finally got round to replacing the Track Rod Ends with some Lemforder ones (which I meant to do weeks ago).
-Had my Road wheels refurbished in Anthracite Grey at the Wheel Specialist in Burton and had some Uniroyal Rainsport 3's Fitted.

Just ordered some Smoked Side Repeaters as the blingy silver ones stand out a bit with the dark wheels.

Just needs an oil change and alignment before bringing it back out to play March/April time roll on some Track Days!

I used Derwent Enamelers, but I think I'm going to try and find somewhere else, I've used them for about 7 years now, and they've always been good, but recently they've been incredibly slow.

I went for Corbeau Clubsport Seats on OMP Subframes, nothing special, but seem pretty good for the money.

Very nice progress so far mate. Jealous that you're able to do all this work yourself!

How is the position on OMP frame? Comfort. I've been looking at making subframes along the line of the x-low ones when i get round to swopping the seats over

Yeah that's the ones.

I find them ok on the OMP subframes, but I've removed all the prefitted spacers from the corbeau sliders to lower them slightly, and used dome Cap head bolts on the runners to allow me to use some of the lower mounting holes on the side mounts.

I looked at making subframes but decided on buying the OMP's and modding them if I wasn't happy.... Looking at where the Cobra X-low frames would sit in comparison, I think they'd be too low for me Without spacers etc, but maybe better for base mounted seats rather than side mount.

Yep, standard Pistons and Rods, just a 1.9mm head gasket to drop the compression.

Got any closer shots of how you mounted the catch tank? I'm ripping my AC out this summer so itll free up some room
Im in two minds as to making my own catch or not. Was going to spot weld a bracket in the space where the AC pipes are

Will grab a pic next time i'm in the garage.

The catch tank I bought had a mounting plate with 4 holes on the back already, although I had to chop one of the holes off to fit.

Would be fairly easy to copy, but OBP stuff is very good quality!
