Done afew bits to my car now so i thought id put up afew pics,
not the best quality they were taken on my phone.

Lowered on ktec coilovers
Drilled and grooved discs allround

Splitter
Alpine headunit
JL audio 6.5cm front componts
All sound deading,
carbon canister,
austic valve,
exhaust heatsheilds,
the weight on the engine mount all removed.
Rear seats removed

Havn't updated for a while, ive been flatout on the ph1 getting it ready for afew trackdays.
Got alot of bits to put on the car i will try and keep the updated coming.


Matched inlets
Enlarged throttle body
4bar fuel pressure regulator
Cup alternator/ aircon removed
Cup heater/blower
Oil catch tank
Powerflex lower gearbox mount
Powerflex wishbone bushes
Powerflex front rollbar bushes
Ktec decat
Yozza race system
Ktec coilovers with stiffer 350lb springs front and rear
Rear camber shims
Removed abs fitted cup set-up
15" team dynamics pro 1s in black
OMP race disc and pads all round
Rear strutbrace
Ph2 bumpstrips and bullets
Stripped every thing out plastics, carpet, sound deading, cut away all the rear seat brackets, the inner skin on the boot, bonnet and doors.

look forward to new ones. really does look fantastic! wee question though. whats the small blue hose coming from the inlets behind the TB? lol

Both the phase 2 and particularly the 1 look pretty much perfect pal;)

Both engine bays look very clean...

Just put a set of silver team dynamics pro race 1.2s on my car while my 2118s get refurded.
Im quite liking these's for a change.

Im getting the 2118s done anthracite.



Will look great! Looking at getting my 2118s done in anth in the new year. Get some pics up when there on :D

Love the engine bay, wish I had the time or inclination to do mine. Black and silver looks immense!!
 
Love the PH1, agree the TD's in silver look great! They 15's?

Question for you. What size of Samco 90 bend is that you have? Diameter etc?

After doing this to my gearbox i thought it was about time to sort afew thing out.

The rocker cover was leaking and the belts needed changing.
I also wanted to uprate and change a few things.

So put the car in the work shop and out came the engine.

I got a JC5 129 gearbox out of a cup and fully rebuilt it.

I stripped the engine down had the head skimmed, valve re-seated, i mildly ported and polished the head and matched the inlet.
I went for a techniclutch and got the flywheel skimmed and lightened.

While the engine was out i removed the powersteering and fitted a 1.2 rack and r5 gtx alternator bracket.
I also removed the abs fitted the brake line master cylinder and brake bias from a cup.
I cut and removed all the un-used wires and plugs.

I built the engine back up and fitted a new cambelt kit, dephaser pulley, head gasket kit, plugs, leads, oil and filter.

Put the flywheel clutch and gearbox on and got it ready to put back in.

Engines back in and running sweet, i made a new throttle cable and bracket which works so much better and is alot smoother than standard.

Im going to get a set of 421 catcams soon and im going to remove the dephaser pulley and vvt get a group n cam locking tool have it live mapped and hopefully it will be near the 200bhp mark.

Ready for some track time in the summer.

yeah seen a fair few issues. They're refurbished units and they're rarely even as good as standard, let alone the upgrade they claim.
 
Techniclutch are the worst clutches ever , I would be taking that back out and replacing with a genuine clutch , I guarantee it will break to pieces within a few thousand miles , I hear so so much bad stuff about techniclutch , great car though apart from the clutch
