197 is at the fly and 182/172 is at the fly too.
this is my 197 at the wheels before and after remap...
Good old RR figures....oh so reliable
'Underpowered' probably due to the increase in weight and gearing.
My car was dyno'd recently - measured 148 at the wheels, which equates to roughly 175 at the fly.
Using those transmission losses, your alleged 192 at the wheels would give you 227 at the fly. So that's an extra 30 bhp. From a remap. On a Renault normally aspirated engine. ROFLMFAO.
Where can I buy some of this magic fairy engine dust?
197 is at the fly and 182/172 is at the fly too.

hahahahahahahahahaha.ha. ...hah....ha If that's at the wheels you've gained 20+bhp from a filter and a remap??!!
At the wheels. My f**king arse sunshine!!:clown: :clown:

The gear ratios are even shorter are'nt they? to offset the bloated weight!
lots of very weird posts in here and lots of people seemingly not knowing what they are talking about.

RE: OE Post
Colin mu old friend. For a supposed car enthusiast you are out of touch. Maybe its all that cleaning?
All cars do not give the manufacturers claimed power figures.
All engines are bench tested without gearbox etc so 197 for example refers to power at the flywheel.
182 I suspect will be at the wheels which is fantastic. Even 170 at the wheels is good.
BTW a 172/182 has transmission losses as wheel hence RR figures for standard cars will show approx 13-/140 at the wheels, not 172/182 as so many of you clearly think.....(roll eyes)
Do some research into engine power figures and transmission losses....for starters.
tim, most rolling roads ive seen have quoted power at the flywheel! so thats probably the case there too!
