Tyre recycling/part worn buyers

I have some nexen n1000 in 205/45r16 with 6/7 mm left on the tread. I could ebay them but as they arent really performance tyres it'll be hard to sell them and its a lot of hassle. Is there anywhere I can take them to get some cash for them? Do tyre places buy part worns? I'm not after loads of money but it seems a shame to take them to the tip of recycling centre when someone could get some use out of them.

Ring some part worn tyre places, shouldnt have a problem getting £5 each.

i got £30 for my two hankook v12s with 2.5mm tread left they were 19" though. Ebay

How much are you looking for them? Why don't you try and sell them on eBay? Same question again though, are they any good?

pop them on gumtree mate, at the right price they will sell in a day
