OK UPDATE:

Jesus this was STRESSFUL!!! Managed to order one via Amazon and one via the Microsoft Store!

GAME website is DOGSH*T and wasn’t even showing the Series X. Then when it finally did it had a server error and kept going in a loop! Pathetic!!!!

I had GPU during lockdown, but it has expired (a couple of months ago I think). Am I still eligible to buy 3 years of gold and then pay £1 to convert it? Or has that workaround sailed now I've been a member before?

Managed to get one with Argos. The Smyths site crashed at about 7:55am. Did try Game but that crashed for the last two days when I tried to sign in, and crashed again today.

Currys put me in a f**king lol queue.

I did have an Amazon order, but once the Argos one was confirmed I cancelled it.

Also quite nice I have both consoles pre-ordered with Argos now. haha

That offer has gone, it was more of an introductory offer when GamePass first launched. They do have deals on and off but I havent seen that specific deal in a long time.

I can't see the point if there's no new games I want to play. As soon as a new game that I want comes out Forza or Halo specifically I'm not sure I'll bother. Might just grab one before then anyway but I'm not in a hurry to fight for a day one Xbox even though fomo is making me want one right now still.

Mine is due to OCD as I have bought every Xbox on day one since the very first one lol.

Plus I think this machine is freaking mental so I have to have it!! There’s nothing quite like buying a next generation console and being blown away by it. I know it sounds lame but it’s an amazing feeling, especially if you have grown up with consoles being a big part of your life.

Not to mention it’s been like 7 years since the Xbox One was released, people are super ready for a huge upgrade like this.
