Fair enough mate, I've not had a console since PS3 lol so I'm not that arsed about waiting a bit.

The missus really wants a PS5 but I'm swaying towards the X Box I have to admit, looks better and the game lineup is potentially better too now after what I've read on here.

Really don't know what to do!

Well I’m an Xbox guy so my opinion is obvious lol!! Buy both?

I don’t want to start a console “war” in here because that’s lame as hell. But everything I have posted on here has been researched and is factual, so you can make a well informed decision either way.

For the Series X? Kinda - although John Lewis haven’t listed theirs yet, and Smyths died so they have to come back online and finish selling their allocation - so you do still have a chance but it won’t be easy (demand is very very high).

Series S still seems available in some places according to whispers on Twitter and news sites.

Have given up now, I'll see if anyone gets stock after launch but I doubt it until nearly Xmas if any of the other Xbox launches are anything to go by

Saves me buying a new TV I guess, might buy some more plastic crack

Only place left now I think might be John Lewis. They still haven’t updated to sell pre-orders yet. They are super late!

Ah yeah.
I had it in my basket but was out. Forgot my wallet, just gone to checkout, it's still showing available but every time I go to confirm it comes up with an error.
Was going to buy it then sell it to my dad or brother if they didn't manage to get one.

Hmmm, doubt it tbh. Anything is possible I guess. I think it would be GAME and Smyths deciding how many they want to allocate to All Access and how many to direct sales, as they likely get a different margin on each.

Or they are already stressed out and don't want to complicate things further.

Also, IF it were the case that they had separate stock for All Access and direct sales, we wouldnt be seeing "OUT OF STOCK", we would be seeing "ALL ACCESS STILL AVAILABLE - DIRECT SALE SOLD OUT". I haven't seen this differentiation anywhere.

I just convinced myself - no I do not think they have separate stock for All Access. LOL

I've bought most consoles on release since the N64 but I'm leaving it for a few months this time. PC build offers a lot of what the SX does with the 30 series cards and I can also use it for work.

I'll probably pick one up once the games portfolio picks up a bit. I'm still a console gamer to an extent!

I'll probably end up just getting a 3070 or a 3080 instead (although nvidia royally fucked up the 3080 pre orders already - so that'll probably be 2021 too)

Looks like the fact I had it in my basket on the payment screen held it for me as I was getting HSBC to unblock my cards meant I've managed to pre-order it.. money is showing as pending out of my account but not had an order confirmation or anything. That'll be a fun fight if its not gone through properly

I am a gamer and ive had them all on release, but i agree with you. No need at all for this one, there's no must have games coming out at the same time or anything anyway. I may actually wait till xmas for this tbh.

Just tried then. It won't let you do the all access online now. To tired for this now. Though I'd like to know what happens with the direct debit I've set up for the one this morning.

My mate sent me an AO link and the only X option was this.
