Sorry but I think thats mad. I know its 11 months newer with less miles but £2500 extra, thats a fair amount of money
But as long as your happy with the deal thats the main thing :)
Hi Craig, i'm glad you like the car :) I miss it already :( it sounds like its being well looked after. 45mpg is good going
I can't see the pics??
I was very impressed by your dad's car it looked spot on. Did you sort that boot out in the end?
if I have a coutesy car, wheel spinning is a must, hand brake turns normally happen, revving the car to redline is quite common. Would you still buy one lol
My mrs's drives about 1.5 miles to get to work then same to come home, then we use it for shopping at the weekend.
It doesn't even warm up by the time she's at work. We did just under 4k last year lol
At the moment we are averaging 28 mpg.
I notice that when its warmer outside the mpg goes up
I was going to but I really can't make up my mind. Its seems too good to sell, as I have already had the 36k service even though I only have 34.5k on the clock and I have also had the cambelt done as well (Thanks Mike, top bloke)
So probably won't sell after all lol
Hi
This is probably a really easy question.
Is there anyway of looking at your brake pads to see if there is any pad left? I just want to know whether my pads need changing because sometimes it sounds rough when braking at slow speeds, fast seems fine. I'm not sure whether its just dirt...
I was thinking about selling mine, its a Y reg 2001 fsh only done 34k, I had the 36k service done already and cambelt replaced. Overall in very good condition, it hasn't been modified in any way so completley standard. Its been well looked after. I was going to put it up for £5800. The reason...
I took my 172 to Mike and he carried out a 36k service and cambelt change and also fitted a new waterpump for me. I must admit he certianly knows his stuff and he did a really good job on my car. I was very happy with what he did and will be taking my car there again for my next service.
Mike...
My 172 idles iratically but its not that bad I just put it down to the nature of the engine as a lot of people state it. I think its one of those things we will never know.
I remember when my car idled at 3k rpm  that was a bit of a shock  turned out to be a jammed idle control valve
I must admit I had a very bad experience with the Bournemouth branch a while ago, the customer service was so s**t. The women behind the counter was so rude and didn't care about anything she was meant to ring me to discuss what needed doing etc but she didn't bother and decided to go ahead...
Just been told that some of the olympian renault if not all are closing down.
Anyone know if this is true?
If it is true I don't know how with the amount they charge.
