A year of Clio ownership... 56k No Waii

Ive been a Clio owner for about 1 year and 1 month so thought id make a thread about my year...

It started off with the 1.2 53 plate Extreme 2

When I got it:

I then got the modifying bug and got started on the beast

Dynamique Spoiler - Check

Custom Exhaust - Check

Tints - Check

Then got hold of some Dynamique Alloys:

Which were swiftly resprayed Anthracite with a hint of "Tango"

Then came the coilovers... Vmaxx yo!

Finito:

Mods on the 1.2:
- Lowered around 60-70mm on Vmaxx Coilovers
- Tints by Tint-R
- Sound System (Brap)
- Custom Exhaust System by Longlife
- Dynamique Spoiler
- Dynamique Alloys
- Tango'd parts

Then 2 months ago, I sold this to my girlfriend and bought the 172 Flamer (with Sat Nav)

When I got it:

Swiftly got hold of some 172 alloys (thanks to DrG off here):

The exhaust then decided to fall to bits, so bought a Ktec Recessed Supersport:

And a Skoda Splitter

On Monday, something else arrived for me... *Ahem*...

And on the way, should be this beaut:

Cant wait to get it resprayed and on the car!

"Mods" on the 172:
- Ktec Supersport Recessed Exhaust
- Ktec Air Filter
- Skoda Splitter
- 172 Alloys
- New plates all round
- Cup Spoiler to come soon

Overall, got to say, I love Clios. Especially the 172, great little upgrade from the 1.2
Hopefully will be making an appearance at French Car Show aswell. Hoping to get it detailed professionally before then!

That is quite possibly the highest rear end ive ever seen Im sure its just down to the picture angle and/or how its been parked but still, thats high!!! Never the less though looks really tidy and 10 times better on standard wheels.

Ive also got another pair of 2.0 16v Bullets that I was planning to respray in the standard silver but paint the lettering flame red, but not sure at the moment!
Apart from that, all im going to do is paint the brakes to tidy them up. Probably go for Red but undecided yet! May end up with black!

Lol I did notice that the other week, but it is HPI clear, and if the bumper has been resprayed, theyve done a damn good job of it as its a perfect colour match!
It probably has been resprayed come to think of it, if it was as bad as what the bonnet is for stone chips!

Can get them off eBay cant you?

Should have kept the first wheels on it or some others.

I hate ph2 172 wheels, make the car look like a dynamique.

Its lovely apart from that though mate, looks really well kept.

Was you after it aswell? lol I was the first one to look at it I think, snapped it up!

Skoda splitter was £10.97 iirc
