IMO
Conti sport premiusm contact (ie original spec) great all round just out of production.
F1's not that great, noisy and sticky when i don't want them to be lower mpg etc.
T1R/S Terriable in the wet and to hard in the dry.
I forget the rest there the ones that come to mind.
Ok then I'c check the cars getting a spark so unplug the coils and check then then check the cars getting fuel but if you cannot hear a starter kicking in then thats most likly the issue so check its relays
There not limited the way there"limited" is that they reach max power in 5th about 100mph its like sticking a super short ratio box on a 172 and saying it only does 100mph.
They won't go much quicker though basic laws of aerodynamics comes into play. hence why the gears are desinged so 100 is...
Check the gerbox selectro is setup right. plus it got enough fluid in the box.
also if you cannot get it in gear put the car in neutral then lift your fott off the clutch sitck it back down then put it in.
could be the syncros starting to go in the box.
Nope theres different fault codes only some set the engine warning light of and only the ones which set the light off can be cleared with these cheap boxes to clear the other faults logged you need more expensive stuff.
Depends how they limited power my guess is the lower power might just be mapped different but the easyish way to check is to find the engine codes all of them are f4R but the next 3 number tell you what type for example
F4R 730 is a Mk2 phase 1 engine
F4R 732 is a Cup/phase 2 172 engine
F4R...
There loads of differences realy.
Head's
Cams
Blocks
Pistons
Valves
Injectors
Intake plebhams
Exhaust manifolds.
VVT none VVT.
Renault won't tell you exactly whats is different as well there no point.
You could in theory convery any of the engines to another but easier to just...
Form what I can tell (pc bust so cannot view the page properly) I recon its a loom or a sensor problem I'd check the map/tdc sensors get Renault etc to take the car out for a full blast and log the sensor readings i recon that should show up the issue.
You can stitch the seat up without the airbag but you'll get the airgar warning light on the dash since the stems been activated but it won't fail test
You should replace the seat back though as once the airbags gone off the seat back is damaged and should always be biinned.
To get rid of...
Two options
1) Fill in your V5 with the correct engine cc and codes etc and send it to the DVLA they'll send you a correct one back.
1) Fill in your V5 with the new engine size then send it off them the'll send you a new one back with the correctt ccc then send it off again showing the change...
We need to find a willing memeber with sat nav and a private road. I've got some 0-100 ish videos somwhere from when i was in Germany but I cannot find them plus there not a 1.2 so there not that useful.
Depends who is fitting and setting it up could be fitted DIY then a garage sort the tracking else you cna pay £330 for corner weighting IMO though there not worthy of being fitted realy for a road car so unless your spending a fortune forget corner weiging etc.
Are we on about windscreen or headlight ones?
Best idea is to unplug them and let a load of fluid through them then blow compressed air down them and pines see if somehting stuck in there.
It does with the right driver or/and suspension even my caf with less than 75hp and a heavier engine standard has been known to overtake 182's on track.
