The alarm should be under the passenger side airbag or under the scuttle panel.
Does your car even have a working alarm it could have been removed thats all.
They do a 1.6 16V but IMo get the 2.0 or a bigger engine again or not at all for the cost.
They will fit the brakes they have to fit 172 brakes since there using 172 hubs.
Don't forget you also could do with remembering VAT plus service its you are best with a new clutch and cambelt etc so...
They have a warently as a selling point plus there so badly desinged they need to be changed all the time IMO they investment in them was very poor.
How will they be under less strain? I'm completly comfused how they can be what do you mean?
185/55/15 is what the car was suspension wise setup for plus wider tyres cacth on the rear ach liners so it wasn't an option. Most people cannot tell the chnage and for the cost saving I'd use 195/50/15.
Renault don't know and since your not buying and since you can find out quicker than ringing a garage for certain whay should they try and explain this to you? Its just as quick to go and look yourself and you cna be sure.
get the wheel on full lock and measure the distance between the center...
Why did you not fix the probelm when you bough the car or suspect something was wrong then?
If the airbags gone off the the light should be on all the time until you get the airbags computer reset.
Bieng as the airbags light is only on now and again hints that you've a bad connection on the...
Check the gearbox chnage linkage is risgh then check your enough oil in the gearbox maybe renew then could be a damaged clutch starting to show or a worn engine mount
