Well I took it steady as per Reno manual and its just starting to wear in now at 34000 miles and all thats worn out is a front set of tyres and the rear brake pads.....so my advice would be to take it steady as per the manual.....dont forget as the saying goes the best things come to those who...
All back boxes on Cups 172s dont seem to look right due to there being no exhaust cut out......as for power gains theres going to be minimal gains which ever system you choose.
It will fit if youve got the cash......looked threw a old copy of Revs and theres a lad whod dropped a cossie engine into a mk2 Golf GTI...thats certainly not meant to fit also seen a few valvers, RSTs , 205 GTIs and even a little Fiat with the cossie lump shoved in !!.....so anytings possible
Had a day dream today at work about dropping a Megane turbo engine in the 172.........tune it up to 300bhp.....now thats more like it. 200 bhps for wimps ! ;)

Try checking to see if the tyre is worn even across the tread top to start with........defo something wrong though.......Im on the orig tyres at the rear 34k nearly due for the second set up front so theres a comparison for you.
