What happens if you plug the phone in to the computer via the USB cable, does iTunes see the phone? If iTunes can see the phone then you could try and restore in iTunes (you will lose you data) if not already backed up.
If not get a DIY kit from ebay (about £4 - do not try to open the phone...
This was my old car first owner after the dealer, does anyone still have it? It's not on the insurance database so maybe no longer on the road ( or now on a private reg)
Re: iPhone 5 this October??
My phone is now dead, so i am thinking of getting the 4s for now and putting it on ebay in a few months, then upgrading to the 5
I reset safari every couple of weeks and i use a program called 1password to deal with my logins.
1password remembers all your passwords and you can log in to sites with 1 click of a button (you can also make your passwords more secure)!
Same problem with my MBP i7 (since upgrade too)
Updated to the latest flash player and then repaired permissions and reset safari now working fine :)
Chrome, firefox worked fine just safari which was the problem!
does windows 7 still use fdisk?
if so use fdisk to repartition the disk then try and restore,
remember not to overwrite any files to that drive as you will not be about to restore!
Also have you tried Handy Recovery?
have you looked at

Yes you can get certain files off the backup. Access the drive and you should see a folder called "Backups.backupdb" access that folder and inside you should see another folder with the name of your Mac (i.e Simon's Macbook Pro or Simon's Mac Mini) Access that folder and you will see a file...
This is how I made my finder look better
First go in to Finder > Preferences > Side Bar (change what you want in the side bar)
Then go to System Preferences > General (Change Sidebar Icon size to small)
Finders looks a bit better now!
I guess that would work, but if it was me i would re download lion from the app store (you can re-download it for free using the same account you bought it with) then follow the clean install guide!
Only problem with that is there the 3.7 GB download, but if you have no limits don't worry!
I did a clean install this way, and had very little problem with lion, battery is about the same if not a little better (only by about 15 min on a full charge) on my MBP 2011, but my MBP does run a little warmer then SL but its always been warm, 2.3 i7 does run warm!
Do you have a new set of phones? if so disconnect the ringer cable inside the master socket (it will be cable number 3).
Have a look at http://www.wppltd.demon.co.uk/WPP/Wiring/UK_telephone/uk_telephone.html for more help.
if not try to get hold of a BT Broadband Accelerator...
I did not know you was not at home!
Should work all ok, infact I just install windows on my MBP 2011 (typing this from within windows) and had no problems!
Again i have tried to download the drivers and they did not work!
If your started again then you need too.
1. Run Bootcamp Assistants in OSX.
2. Make the Partition as big as you need.
3. Wait until it asks for the Windows DVD and insert it in to the Mac and click continue
4. Mac Book Pro will restart and should load windows setup, install and complete all...
