Thinking of get Freesat HD and was wondering if I could install this myself. Would the freesat box plug straight in using the existing Sky+ cables. Fed up with paying Sky £50 a month for channels that I just don't watch. Thanks for the advise.

Also check and make sure the jack and 2 puncher repair kits are still there.

check the exhaust as these tend to rust due to bad design. If it has the original it will need replacing very soon unless it's been garaged its whole life. Also worth checking the brake discs back and front as this can be costly.

I was told that your best off chipping a low milage car 10-20k rather than one with higher milage and putting that engine under the extra strain when its already completley run in. Not sure how true this is??

I paid under £100 for rear disc and bearing, just got them pressed myself. A garage will do it for around £10

Typical stealers trying to rip its customers off. May be it's their policy not to fit old rings but they should be fine. I've had the rear discs done on two on my previous cars and used the old rings on both occasions

Use the old rings.. Buy the discs _+ bearings seperate and get them pressed yourself

But at the price I paid three was no point in buying plain discs.

As said mate I got the discs + pads for £115.00 I reckon he will take £70 + postage I offered £65 and it was rejected
