old clio RT seems to have a starter motor problem in that when you turn the ignition on you hear the fuel pump (i assume this is what the first noise is) and then when you try to start the car there is a nothing - starter doesnt even seem to kick in.there is a bit of a funny clicking noise but...

I had a momo boss and sparco wheel for a while, but had no end of trouble with the horn so swapped back. I think the smaller wheel did feel nice but I can't say I miss it that much!

my rear fog light on the dash has started to come on when I push the brake pedal, put the indicator/hazard lights on or put the car in reverse! It doesn't come on as bright as when the actual fog light is on. Really starting to bug me. Anyone had this?

well I did the unlock procedure with the old sim card in then when it finished and the installer app was on the homescreen I pu my orange sim in but it still said no service. I tried resetting everything but it made no difference. Youtube stopped working as well.

I have the original sim but it is deactivated. What happened is the phone was bought by my dad he lost it and got another one on the insurance then the old phone was found under the car seat! So now iv got this iPhone with a simcard which isn't active and want to unlock so I can use my orange...

do u need a working O2 sim card in the phone when u unlock it??

iv tries to use ziphone to unlock my iphone to work with orange but it didnt work and also made youtube stop working. I clicked the Do It All option waited for the phone to do its thing, then wen it booted up again it said no service. wot am i doing wrong?. my firmware is version 1.1.4 btw.

try tightening ur wheels bolts

i cant get my iphone to work with my orange simcard. i used Ziphone GUI software to unlock/jailbreak etc etc and now it just says NO SERVICE and also YouTube doesnt work anymore!! whats going on??

Where is the fuel filter on my car and is the approved method to depressurize the fuel system the same as with most cars ie. start the car then unplug the fuel pump fuse (not actually checked if theres a fuse for the pump?). any pointers/pics would be handy!

if ur on a budget standard shocks + sportlines is goin to be tough to beat

leave standard dampers. theyl be better than any of the coilies bar the most expensive. u get what you pay for. only other shocks id put on are Sachs (like the Trophy).

get a diagnostics reader and see what it says. prob js as the fella above said tho. it will still run fine with the lambda sensor showing a fault but get it check out

are the guys with coilys havin ghtis problem as well or is it just lowered springs on the oe shocks?? i also only noticed it after fitting my eibachs

reckon its a trial and error job. am takin it to a garage soon see what they say.

this seems to be a real arse ache for a lot of ppl. i also have the click/clunk/clonk.....noise when turning the wheel slow speeds, and a creaking when going over bumpy roads slow etc. I did the top strup washer thing which made no difference wse. i am going to grease up all the bushings...

This sounds similar to my problem.i have sportlines also. does it click when you turn the wheel when manoevring also?? i thort it was that the spring was not seated properly but iv checked and it looks fine. going to try these top strut washers which u can get from yozzasport or hav made up...

found a link about some washer to put under the top rubber mount of suspension. will try this see if it works

check wheel nuts on front are nice and tight. if ok could be manifold knocking-just put a post up bout this...i had a knocking noise wen accel hard in 1st & 2nd it was the exhaust mani knocking -undid the engine mount on top left and pulled engine forward...sorted

no. loosen off the bolts (shown in the pic) and pull the engine towards you - like i said this was how i cured my problem but it may not be the manifold causing your problem!

maybe manifold knocking - i had this happen, only wen flooring it in 1st and 2nd. check the engine mount on the top it may have some play or if not try lossening it then pull engine forward and retighten thats how i solved mine.

iv started gettin quite a lound clicking/clunking noise when manoeuvreing at slow speeds and when turing the wheel stationary. it seems to do it when warm or cold but only when slow manoeuvre or stationary. i put some eibachs on a couple of months ago and think maybe its something to do with...

need to know the mech efficiency of the gearbox
