Its only £400 odd quid, pointless not speccing it, if only for the red brembos. I have it on my 200, and previous 197, wouldnt be without it, even gives you more confidence on the twisties.

I'm guessing resale value doesn't mean much to you then? Doesn't this require you losing the rear seats? Maybe your insurance will drop with this safety feature and the car becoming a 2 seater!!;)

3 points do matter and raise insurance. Try doing a quote on line but change points to 3 on second quote, and it always goes up. im 35 with 3 points that are 4 years old now and still costs me about £50 extra!

Hi, Got my new RS 200 in December, and have been using the wifes nano with no problem to date, then finally got round to replacing the battery in my 4th gen' ipod yesterday. It has 18gb of music loaded onto it. But the stereo, the upgraded version, does not recognize the iPod when I plug it in...

but what about upgrading other parts like brakes, suspension etc? i did ask earlier but no one commented. really interested to hear what you guys are doing about such things to ensure thats its not just fast, but also maintains the excellent handling that the 200 has. straight line speed is...

It wasn't just the body on a 197.....a new design and geometry of suspension was included. To go further the 200 included a new engine, gearbox, steering, suspension and overall body design over the standard new shape clio. Most other hot hatch manufacturers just bolt on as already said etc.

I dont understand the problem. I plug my ipod into the usb connector behind the drop down flap, and all 3 of my ipods work perfectly. no delay when scrolling or anything. i just wish it would detect faults with the wifes music as she always seems to get control of stereo!

That was a big deliberation, but I decided in the end with black on black you lose the interesting bits like the rear diffuser and new front spoiler, they all seemed to merge. In the anthracite they are highlighted. But each to their own of course.
