I use megs shampoo in my gilmour, hot water and as mentioned above a good shake to start the bubbles off. Works a treat.

Karcher foaming gun looks fun but the gilmour is just plug and play which in all honesty suits me better. It'll get used every time as obviously the hose pipe always comes out and i havn't got to mess about with extension leads etc.

Bought a karcher K297 pressure washer with vario lance today from argos. All's good with the hose connected to it BUT................... I've read so much about running it from a large container with soap in to leave "snow" all over the car. Tried this today with disasterous results. its fine...

Lots of tlc and plenty of quality cleaning products. Cars on 99k now and think the paint still looks fresh.

White spirit or surgical spirit works a treat. Surgical spirit is better as it isnt as greasy as turps.
