I have a sony headunit fitted to my renno, when i switch the engine on i get crackling from the speakers, but only when radio is on, not cd. Does anyone have any ideas? Have checked all connections etc. Cheers!

I have an MP3 Sony CD changer, connected to a connect2 unit to a Sony headunit. Was looking to get a Kenwood headunit. I want to keep both display and steering controls. Can someone please tell me if this is poss, and if so whats the best plan! Cheers!

Clare, you want a connects2 lead. This connects the radio to the display and the remote control. Easy for someone to fit etc, but not cheap. I had an auto lead one that just did the remote control, but then upgraded to the connects2 one, much better, in my opinion! lol

Whats up with the roof for it to be replaced?

Would love a decent exhaust but no cash at the moment! Can you get a clamp on type thingy to make it look good. Is more difficult as they point down, and i want mine to be level etc! Any ideas.....thanks! Dont want it to look crap though!

When I go round a small roundabout thats bumpy near us it feels thet all the suspension is loose, cant think anything is, but will mention it to Renault. Along with the sunroof and revs which have started being a bit wierd.

5W-40 is ok even though they recommend 10W-40?

Ive used Magatec 10 / 40, because i get it free, but which oil would you say is better, and why? Has had it renewed every 6000 miles.

Would anyone here use Halfords to lower their motor? In Sheffield they have the bays to do work etc, dont know how good they are, or how much it would cost to have it lowered 4cm. Have no idea what the best springs are and how warrenty will be. Cheers for any info!! Andy

The Mk1 does not have Xenons thats why im afraid, same lights as mine!

I wouldnt call it a proper flat spot, so much as a "dip spot" if thet makes any sense. Dont know that much about engines, and whether it could be a plug or lead or anything like that?
