Sorry to go off topic, but why ask to use the persons toilet?
Glad to see these questions asked as I will be going over to england from NI to purchase a car nearer july time.

One of my door speakers was doing this recently, and it turned out to be a burnt voice coil. they would come on and off independantly. Just a suggestion!
I would wait till sunday, boxing day sales, take a trip to halfords and sunday to price them then ;) A fellow work mate told me they were going down to 200 quid. Maybe other employees of halfords can confirm this!
Ah rite cool, so all is wired up correctly which means its going as it should be lol. Would you be able to tell me if there would be much difference if i went for an mtx 7500 dual voice coil sub and ran the amp down to 2 ohm and used the same box and all, would it be a lot louder?
Peter
Oops, meant gain on the amplifier soz.
I thought the sub and amp should work well together as well, but its a monoblock amp and am not sure if u can bridge the channels! I was told that when you have single voice coil sub hook it to speaker 1 terminals which then show the amp 4ohm load but if...
Ok, i installed my mtx 801d and polk momo sub today. The sub is in 1cuft box mounted arse out. When i went to set it up, i can turn the gain on the head unit up full and its not any louder than my previous setup which was a legacy amp and pioneer sub! Im wondering if i need to bridge the...
I am looking to do speaker pods for my clio. They are 13cm speakers. I have been looking and with the wires in behind the speaker grill and the funny shape of the panel its going to be pretty difficult to take a mould of it. How has everyone made the pods for their doors? is fibreglass the best...
I used the same hole as bowman, found it very handy indeed as no drilling required, it just goes down the drivers side but you just run all the other stuff down the other side.

Hey, bought myself a redline last night and was flicking through it to find a dark red clio. It is the boy that has the two perspex sub boxes with pioneer subs in her. Just thought he might want to know. It was at one of the shows.

Hey, last night my window dropped when i went to put it down and i have checked and the wire has snapped off at a white connector thing. Does anyone know if you can buy the wire by itself or do you have to buy the full regulator.
Thanx, Peter
I have had it for almost a year now, and its been doing it for a while but just got really annoying recently.
I think it may have something to do with because there are that many wires out the back of it u have to push it with some force and may have bent the side parts and now its rubbing...
I have an alpine 7893r head unit and when i open it it makes a squeeking noise once it levels out and then when i put it back up it makes another squeek. How do i stop it making this noise and has this happened to anyone else?
Cheers, Peter
My friend did it to his alfa 156. He had 40mm lowering springs on her all round and she sat too high at the back so he cut them a bit and now sits perfect. Proly doesnt work perfect though as said before.
Do it yourself man, cut a section out of the middle of it to get the holes on either side lined up and then cut it where it meets the arches and then screw it on with self tappers.
I think its foliatec that do a spray for tinting rear light clusters! You can buy remover as well for it. Comes in many colours. You can buy it in many car accessory shops for like a tenner.
Peter
My mate put an espace splitter on his the other day and looks mint!
to fit it he had to take a bit out of the middle to get the holes on either side to match up and took bits at each side were cut off as well.
