Definitely no teeth missing on passenger side, I've thoroughly cleaned and checked that side several times.
The drivers side looked ok last time I checked but I haven't cleaned it as thorough as the other side so that's part of my plan today, cause for how much I've got the abs sensors for I'm...
Hi everyone,
Ok so bit if his history first. I had a abs fault about a month or so ago, plugged diagnostics in and had an unknown fault code, did a live data run and found the L/H abs sensor was reading a different speed to the other 3 sensors. So assumed it was the L/H sensor issue. Replaced...
Yer it all went together ok, I cleaned up the hub where the sensor goes, and it defiantly went all the way in.
As far as I can tell its fitted correctly though
I haven't checked it against the other side actually, I noticed the passenger side sits about 5mm away from the ring, probably less...
Ok, so bit of history on the fault....
I had a slight issue on track a couple weeks back, wheel came off the hub slightly due to bolts unwinding themselves (I did check aswell before anyone comments, i checked after 15-20 mins of track and it was fine, wheel came off 2 hours later)
I was lucky...
Dont mean to hijack but on yhe subject I was looking at the direzzas, and came across the Dunlop dz03g, their a 1b road legal tyre too.
How do they compare has anyone ever used them?
Hi guys,
Bought myself a stud and nut conversion the other day and got them fitted yesterday.
Im on track tomorrow and donny (hope the weather holds out lol) and wondered what every one who has this kit or similar torques the nuts too?
Do you just got with standard or a bit more?
Then I've...
Finally managed to get some paint on the rocker cover, looks a lot tidier than before.
Before....
After......
Bit unsure if to do the back of the rocker cover, the raised bit in black or leave it as it is?
The centre on the piper is essentially a sleeve fitment, but it comes with an adapter to fit an olive joint set up too. So really any decat will fit. But you'll be better off getting a sleeve type decat.
Most sleeved ones will fit, ktec's one, milltek, and piper do have their own for the...
That's a good bit of feed back, I was looking to replace these with some p zeros I think when it comes to new tyres or something around that price, just a shame I don't do many miles so takes ages to wear down, unless I go for a few 'spirited' drives in them lol.
These came with the car though...
Ill have to have. Look for any rubbing marks on fri when I swap onto my track wheels.
Going to take it another place to get a free check to make sure it's all good with where the toe and camber is set and its all even
I wouldn't say the tyres are 'cheap' to buy, they're about £80 a tyre...
See that's the thing mine isn't just low speed. It happens at higher speeds too.
Went for a blast Sunday night and it squealed then too, when it didn't do that before either.
Checked tyre pressures too and they seemed ok, was only 32psi each side. Meant to be about that standard isn't it?
never thought of that actually, haven't checke them for couple of months. They're not normally too bad for going down though tbh
Will double check them tomorrow.
Ahhh I wondered why every one was running around with worried looks on their faces
Hi guys,
I had the tracking set today as I fitted some camber bolts
It was set at -2.2 deg on the camber, and I had the toe set to parallel
The tracking was done on a hunter alignment system, so was a fairly accurate system
Since getting this done ive noticed I've been getting some slight...
I'm going to head over to this I think, it's only 5 mins down the road from me :)
May even put mine on to make up numbers :)
only thing is I may need to run quite earlier as I won't be able to stay around all night ill probably be leaving about 8.15, would this be ok with you guys?
Re: SHOW US YOUR WHEELS !!! (no turinis or stds ) Lets see something different !!
Couple of pics of my track wheels
Enkei RP01's, 15x7 ET35 and some R888's
you'll have to excuse how dirty they are, still needs a clean after a very wet session at donnington lol
Try this website dude - www.alignmycar.co.uk
that tells you all the places with the hunter alignment systems. Although some may not be on there, just car clinic by long shoot used to be on there but they dropped off the site about 3 or 4 month ago but they will more than likely still have the...
The rear one is meant to flat line as that's only a diagnostic probe, so doesn't actually influence anything.
The front one should be anywhere I between 100mv and 700mv, and fluctuating a lot more than that like you say.
That graph looks a lot like my gf's graph on her fiesta st, I know it's...
I thought that may be the case
I was going to ask me dad to press pedal and have a nosey but he would only winge if I disturb him from his gardening so didn't bother haha
Hi guys,
hope your all enjoying the nice weather on the bank holiday :)
i have been doing a check over on the Clio today, make sure everything is ok etc etc.
also plugged in the diagnostics to get rid of the eml from the decat. Whilst plugged in I was having a browse through some of the...
Thanks guys :)
I'm going to go with a blob of silicone, didn't really want to use like a self tapper incase I ever go back to standard in the future.
Hi mate, it's an ITG filter part number JC60/70
Took a little mid of modification of the battery tray so it would fit, as the battery needs...
Recently fitted an RS2 inlet manifold, I noticed there is a small like ring on top of the exhaust side of the cam cover where a seal sat between the cam cover and original inlet.
Well on this part of the cam cover I noticed there's a tiny pin size hole, probably 1 or 2mm diameter.
Now I've...
it felt at home too :) was nice to open it up properly
Yer it was a really nice combination tbh, yer the guy who did the safety briefing said it is one of the lowest corners in the UK, the hair lin was quite tight, took a little while for me to find a good line through there got there in the...
