Does anyone else know anything about the forthcoming release of this car??
a friend of a friend who works for reno says that they are releasing a limited edition cup Evolution!?!?!? met silver, and other goodies??
is this rubbish?
got mine about a month ago, only done 1600 miles as for insurance, well! ive got banned last year for speeding!! luckily my company covers my insurance for me as i have to use it for work!!
good hey!!
i went for the best head unit i could afford, whilst wanting it to look a bit poncey too! pioneer as it happens,
i went for pioneer E-motions components in the front, and co-axs in the rear. i know people say dont bother but ive tried it without and i like the sound with them in.
as for the...
iwas told by someone at puma, that the last 200 pumas had the mondeo 2.0l engine dumped in them, never released as a special/limited edition, just something ford chose to do?!
i got to drive a puma last week, 1.7, and it was slow!! i thought he had the 1.4 engine until he lifted the bonnet to show me!!
as for the racing puma, i heard a worrying fact from a mate who works at ford!!
he told me that it was basically a normal puma with stick on wide arches etc!! he...
what type of amplified bass box are you looking at??
i had one of the pioneer 205As a while back and only paid a ton! it was quite a good way of getting bass into the car! and for an 8" sub in it, it did the job!
Yeah, once youve got your headunit you can go on from there!!
a cheap alternative for adding bass to a system could be a amplified bass box, but if you want anything different a separate amp and sub/box combo seems the best way to go.
if you want a fairly cheap alternative i reccommend the pioneer e-motions, ive got some and they sound reqlly quite good. and they look good hiding behind the grills!
its no bloody use!!
the only grommet i can find in the passenger footwell carries the washer fluid pipe!?!?
as for the bonnet release, that seems to go off up in a different direction completely and totally un-accessible!!
i think im going to have to bite the bullit and pay my local ice...
Cheers guys,
ive noticed when playing around with my HU (pioneer 8400) that theres also some sort of phasing option? is it just a case of playing around until it sounds good? or is there a more technical way of setting up to optimise performance?
sorry, i didnt mean it like that!
i meant, it seems to go into the body work, so there will be enough contact with bare metal to provide a sufficient earth?!? if you catch my drift?
im guessing the cup is different?
ive traced the bonnet release to the grommet in the passenger side, its fairly high up under the dash, with little room to manouvere. the grommet is basically the same size as the cable going through it!!
looking in the bonnet, its almost impossible to trace...
