172 Insurance for under 21’s

Ok, this is one for the under 21 year olds with a 172!

How much do you pay, who are you with and what excess do you have?

Im looking for quotes on a 172, but as I wont be looking to buy one until at least October I dont really wish to spend ages ringing around, i want to get a quote on the web as a guide price!! So far Elephant want £3444 !!!

Ill be 20 with 1 year NCB and having held my licence since 17. No claims/convictions!

Your have to ring all the companies what is good for 1 young driver isnt good for another confused are good but there offered me stupid money. Direct line were good (£1800 and ££450 excess) and have a decient reputation but adrial flux or green something were very cheap (£1500) but with a stupid excess of £700 or something.

Im 21 with 1 NCB and 1 clain though and do high milage in a decient are.

When I was ringing round, a lot of companies wanted only 21 y/o +.. which limits it massivly.

im 21 soon with 2 years ncb and 2 bonus years ncb from renault insurance and they quoted me 1200 with 200 excess!

I bought my insurance when i was 21 and it cost me £1400 , thats with 1 years NCB, accident in 2001!! no points , but that is still a very cheap price. so it must be where i live!
