Love the touch with leaving the note i managed to buy my project car doing the same thing! It looks awesome in them pictures you just posted!!

I'm pleased to convert youThis thread makes me love LY. Never really a fan normally
Some people eh?^^^ blasphemy
Does scrub up well doesn't it  great pics!
Need to take the rear plate off tho and straighten it lol!
I think the plate is fine, it's the car that's wonky[emoji38]. It's certainly a head turner and a shame there aren't more ly ones about for us all to enjoy.Does scrub up well doesn't it  great pics!

Don't you worry you, the damn plate will be sorted, might mask around it so I don't put it back on at the same wonk haha

😂 was just kidding tho, car looks awesome buddy
I've put a different head unit in since as I don't need a bluetooth enabled unit as I'm an old fashioned sort of lad so put in one I've currently got 'in stock', usually have a few to chose from off the shelf..
Nice touch with the panel, sounds a fiddly job but worth it all the same, big improvement!
😂 i'm exactly the same with stereos! The Alpine in mine doesn't even have AUX or USB, CD's for the win!
Great improvement so far
Looks bloody awesome in this photo - colour is amazing! Time for spacers and lowering springs...?LY Clio 182 19-07-16 001 by AcidicDavey, on Flickr
Yeah that's a genuine one straight from my local dealer (Callow Marsh), part number is 8200 071 449. £14.71 including VAT omes complete with that lower fitting frame. They had to order it in and wait for 2 days. That's interesting about the gear gaitor, that's a Renault genuine part for that price?
Mine has the standard issue where the clips break and mine is loose........ it's well stuck down, then you'll put it in reverse and it comes loose again grrrrrrr......... need a new one!!! lol

Sorry didn't realise it was on Eibach's! Heard good things about them, so I'd be tempted to stick with themCheers mate.
This car does deserve that treatment but it drives so well as it is currently on Eibach Pro-kit springs I'm a bit worried about spoiling it, my 172 on Apex springs was awful compared to this one! I do keep mulling it over.
I may get some spacers then decide if I need to lower it... I do keep a lookout for coilovers etc!
They're the black Eibachs, the ones that provide the smallest drop, basically cup spec height.Sorry didn't realise it was on Eibach's! Heard good things about them, so I'd be tempted to stick with them
I know Cooksports have more of a drop, which is what I've got, and I'd say you'd be more than welcome to have a ride in my car to see what you think of the ride - but the route I'm going it isn't going to be smooth, comfy ride for long lol
These cars are definitely about performance and handling over looks though, I'd much rather something which looked too high but handled great then something which super low but handled like rubbish! They're the black Eibachs, the ones that provide the smallest drop, basically cup spec height.
Just read your thread update, I think if I'm going to take you up on your offer of a ride it better be soon :tongueout:

Mine had been glued in as someone had broken them clips by trying to remove it wrong.
Dead easy to fit, a cable tie (which is supplied) secures it to the gearstick and it obviously just clips to the console. Simply slide the rear section into place and push down the front clip by the ashtray. It's obvious when it's in your hand.Cheers for that buddy, will go in armed with that information to get one :up:
Stupid question............... easy to fit?
P.S. love the centre caps!

Just be careful, the clips aren't the strongest.
I tend to agree with you if I'm honest, I'd much prefer original diamonds but these'll do until I can sort something out.Not convinced by the centre caps tbh. Sort of cheapen the wheels, imo
I quite like the bullets to be honest but I'll listen to any suggestions? The centre caps look good, maybe the bullets need matching though.
Cheers, I'll try to keep you entertainedSo much love for this! Keep it up
Cheers mate, I love it too. I get bored of cars easily but 2 months in and it's no for sale yet so that's a big sign of love for me hahaCredit where it's due, I love this car.
It's treating me well so far so it certainly deserves it bless it.Good to see is getting the love it deserves. Nice job.
Thanks, it looks simply stunning in certain light! That is a beautiful thing!
Cheers dude.great looking car! nice to see your looking after it
You are quite right sir, plate has be refitted, this time ever so slightly to the right (but straight!), it'll have to do :tongueout:That's come up lovely, so worth the effort!!
Oh and am I tripping out or have you straightened that rear plate?

Hahah yeh it'll all be changed over the next couple of weeks, not sure it's the right decision on a daily which I do 40 miles a day in, mostly over rubbish country roads - but guess we'll find out soon enough!
